College Preparation

College Planning Presentations:
The Sparrows Point Counseling Department works with all students through a classroom guidance curriculum to help prepare for post-secondary plans, including the college selection process.  We hold presentations for students and their parents on select evenings throughout the year. If you are unable to attend an event, copies of our presentations are available to view.

College Fairs & College Rep Visits:
A college fair is an organized event (virtual or at a local venue) where multiple college representatives present information about their institution to prospective students. We post all upcoming college fair information on our calendar and on our twitter page.

College representatives also visit SPHS to give presentations about their school, meet our students, and answer their questions. Students can sign up for SPHS College Rep visits through Naviance Family Connection, under the "Colleges" tab.
