Principal's Message

April 7, 2025

Greetings Pointer Students and Families,

As we begin the final marking period of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Your involvement plays a crucial role in the success of our students, school and community, and we are grateful for your commitment.

I’m pleased share that our students continued to show tremendous growth and dedication during Marking Period 3. Their hard work, combined with the guidance of our dedicated staff, resulted in significant achievements both inside and outside the classroom.

As we move forward, I encourage all students to take advantage of the outstanding tutoring programs available for the remainder of the school year. We will continue to offer Pointers Rise Tutoring every Wednesday from 2:45-4:15 pm.

As the end of the school year approaches, I would like to extend my early congratulations to the Class of 2025. All seniors are asked to share their college and career plans with our School Counseling Team, so that we may recognize your accomplishments. Our Seniors have many upcoming events to look forward to including Senior Prom, Senior Sunset, Senior Awards & Scholarship Program, Senior Picnic and of course Commencement at Towson University. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our Class of 2025 Parent Boosters for their generosity and commitment to the Class of 2025!

Kind regards,

Emily J. Caster

Principal
